ADBL One Cut Pro is a professional one-step cut and polish compound engineered for serious paint correction work. As part of the ADBL Pro Line of polishing compounds, One Cut Pro is designed to deliver heavy cutting power and a refined finish in a single product, removing severe paint defects including P1000 sanding marks, deep scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation, then refining the surface down to a high-gloss finish without the need for a separate polish.

What makes One Cut Pro stand out from traditional cutting compounds is its diminishing abrasive technology. As the product is worked into the paint, the abrasive particles progressively break down, transitioning the compound from an aggressive cutting action through to a fine polishing action within a single application. This means one product, one pad, one step, where you would otherwise need a cut, polish, and refine workflow.

The water-based, polymer-free, silicone-free formula delivers low dust generation, long working time, and easy wipe-off, making it well-suited to both production detailing environments and high-end correction work. It performs exceptionally well on hard paints such as those found on German marques (Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi), while remaining versatile enough for clear coat, acrylic, and heavily oxidised paint systems when paired with the right pad.

ADBL One Cut Pro is compatible with both rotary and dual-action (DA) polishing machines, and can be used with wool, microfibre, or foam pads depending on the level of correction required and the hardness of the paint being worked.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

1. Shake the bottle well before use to ensure even distribution of the abrasive.
2. Ensure the paint is thoroughly washed, decontaminated, and dried before polishing.
3. Mask off rubber trims, plastic trims, and badges to prevent staining and product accumulation in edges.
4. Work on a cool surface, out of direct sunlight, in a shaded workshop or covered environment.

Application:

1. Apply 4 drops of One Cut Pro to a clean, unprimed pad for a 40cm x 40cm working area.
2. Spread the product across the panel at low speed with the machine off-trigger or on minimum speed to avoid sling.
3. Work the product at the appropriate speed and pressure for your machine and pad combination. Standard guideline: rotary at 1200 to 1800 RPM, DA at speed 4 to 5, with moderate downward pressure.
4. Work the product through its full cycle. The compound will transition from a cutting phase to a polishing phase as the diminishing abrasives break down. Continue until the product begins to go clear and feels noticeably slicker under the pad.
5. Wipe the residue off cleanly with a plush microfibre towel.

After polishing:

1. Inspect the panel under multiple light sources to confirm defect removal and finish quality.
2. Degrease the paint with a panel wipe or IPA solution to remove any oils and confirm the true corrected finish before applying a ceramic coating, sealant, or wax.
3. For deeper correction work, repeat the process or step up to a more aggressive pad. For a finer finish on softer paints, follow with a dedicated finishing polish.

Best practice tips:

• Use a clean pad. Heavily loaded pads reduce cutting performance and can introduce marring.
• Keep the pad flat against the panel and avoid working over hard edges where the clear coat is thinnest.
• Do not let the compound dry on the surface. If working time runs out, add a small mist of water or detailing spray to extend the cycle.
• Test on an inconspicuous area first to confirm the correct pad and machine combination for the paint being worked.
