As the dedicated cutting compound in the ADBL Pro Line, Cut Pro is engineered to remove severe paint defects in the most demanding correction work, including P1000 sanding marks, deep scratches, swirl marks, holograms, and heavy oxidation. Designed as the first stage of a multi-step correction workflow, Cut Pro is paired with a finishing polish such as ADBL Polish Pro or Finish Pro to refine the surface to a flawless, swirl-free finish.

Cut Pro is purpose-built for hard paint systems, the kind found on German marques like Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi, where standard compounds struggle to break down defects. Directions for Use

Preparation:

1. Shake the bottle well before use to ensure even distribution of the abrasive.
2. Ensure the paint is thoroughly washed, decontaminated, and dried before polishing.
3. Mask off rubber trims, plastic trims, and badges to prevent staining and product accumulation in edges.
4. Work on a cool surface, out of direct sunlight, in a shaded workshop or covered environment.

Application:

1. Apply 4 drops of Cut Pro to a clean, unprimed pad for a 40cm x 40cm working area.
2. Spread the product across the panel at low speed with the machine off-trigger or on minimum speed to avoid sling.
3. Work the product at the appropriate speed and pressure for your machine and pad combination. Standard guideline: rotary at 1500 to 2000 RPM, DA at speed 5 to 6, with firm downward pressure.
4. Work the product through 4 to 8 passes per section, or until the compound begins to clear and the defects have visibly broken down.
5. Wipe the residue off cleanly with a plush microfibre towel.

After cutting:

1. Inspect the panel under multiple light sources to confirm defect removal and assess the level of haze or micro-marring left by the cutting stage.
2. Follow with a finishing polish such as ADBL Polish Pro or Finish Pro to refine the surface and remove any compound-induced haze.
3. Degrease the paint with a panel wipe or IPA solution to remove any oils and confirm the true corrected finish before applying a ceramic coating, sealant, or wax.

Best practice tips:

• Use a clean pad. Heavily loaded pads reduce cutting performance and can introduce marring.
• Keep the pad flat against the panel and avoid working over hard edges where the clear coat is thinnest.
• Do not let the compound dry on the surface. If working time runs out, add a small mist of water or detailing spray to extend the cycle.
• Test on an inconspicuous area first to confirm the correct pad and machine combination for the paint being worked.
